Research Interests
The major focus of Boris Prilutsky's research is on biomechanics and neural control of locomotion and reaching movements in healthy people and individuals with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions (peripheral nerve and spinal cord injury, amputation and loss of vision). His lab employs methods of motion capture and in vivo electrophysiological recordings and stimulation of muscles and peripheral nerves, as well as neuromechanical modeling of spinal locomotor networks and sensory feedback signals.
