Nolan was a member of the first QBioS cohort, who began his studies in 2016.  His research advisor was Professor Matt Torres, and his dissertation topic was, “Using heuristic derived features in machine learning to recommend post translational modifications for experimental study.”  Nolan started with Oak Ridge National Lab after finishing his PhD in 2022.
