Congratulations to Quantitative Biosciences doctoral student, Sarah Sundius, who was selected for a 2019-20 ARCS Scholar Award Fellowship. Sarah is co-advised by Professor Rachel Kuske in the School of Mathematics and Professor Sam Brown in the School of Biological Sciences.
The Achievement Rewards for College Scientists Foundation recognizes outstanding doctoral students who have a record of past achievement and who show exceptional promise of making a significant contribution to the worldwide advancement of science and technology.
Per the wishes of the Foundation, the ARCS fellowship of $8,500 is awarded for the full academic year during the fall semester each year. First-time awardees are normally eligible to receive the award for two additional academic years (for up to a total of three award years).
